Description

 

Located across the road from the local primary school, at the tennis courts is the marble memorial plaque set on a concrete plinth for locals who served in WW2. This plaque has a notable amount of names for such a small town population. 

Hernani is located about 50km west of Dorrigo, 100km NE Armidale and 110km SE Grafton.  

The memorial plaque was unveiled by Mr D. Hughes on Sunday 11 November 1951.
