Raymond Terrace War Memorial


The memorial is a cylindrical column topped with a globe. It stands on a stepped, square, polished stone pillar inscribed with dedications and names. The base is a three-stepped platform.

A series of pillars form a fence around the memorial, with a separate dedication plaque attached to one of the pillars. 


North face - front


*They gave their lives.

Erected in honor of, and to perpetuate the memory of the men of the Raymond Terrace District who served in the Great War. 1914-1919.

South face - rear

In honour of those who served in World War 1939-1945.

West face - right side

Boer War 1899-1902.

East face - left side

World War 1939-45, Korean War, Vietnam War.


This fence is erected by Mr & Mrs G H Pepper in memory of their grandsons who fell in the Great War.
