Concrete obelisk with honour roll plaques attached for the First and Second World Wars and Korea. The Vietnam plaque is missing. The front side of the obelisk features two hand-carved crossed .303 rifles. The memorial is accompanied by six sandstone pillars and two flagpoles, and is surrounded by a low walled garden and a metal gate with a plaque.

A large sandstone obelisk set into two sandstone blocks and seated on a masonry plinth, with a crossed rifles frieze above and names of wars carved into each face, and marble tablets attached, together with two flagpoles and situated in a garden.

One tablet is inscribed with the Riverstone community veterans names who gave their lives in the First World War, and a second with Riverstone community veterans names who gave there lives in the Second World War, and a third with a Riverstone community veteran who gave his life in Korean War.

It is located within the forecourt of Riverstone Railway Station and forms part of the curtilage of the heritage listing for the railway station.
