Description / Background

An ornate sandstone entrance with several mounted marble plaques. These include one with a dedication to those who fell in the South African War and several for individual soldiers. The foundation stone was laid on 15 October 1902.

Trooper Arthur Percy Britten Grey,

N.S.W. Bushmen.

Died at "Pretoria", 19th Nov 1901.

Foundation stone

This stone was laid by Mrs C. A. Lee 15th October 1902.
