Sister Sumner Memorial - Gosford

Description

A small stone with cut inscription honouring Sister Mary Katherine (Kate) Curtain (Mrs Ronald Sumner) and accompanying tree.Maiden name Mary Katherine Curtain. She enlisted with the Aust Army Nursing Service in Tasmania in 1915 along with 3 of her sisters.She married  Ronald Sumner. They were living at Terrigal near Gosford at the time of her death in Sydney in 1932.This memorial is also a part of the Gosford Memorial Park (Various Memorials) registration.
