The hall is effectively two substantial brick halls, on two levels, joined together and built between 1953 and 1960 when it was officially opened and dedicated. The older part is now used as a library for the Korean congregation and wider community around Lindfield.

St David's Uniting was formerly a Presbyterian church. 

Inscription

Plaque in foyer:

To the Glory of God. This war memorial hall, opened and dedicated on Saturday 30th April 1960 has been erected in memory of the men of St David's who made the supreme sacrifice in World War II 1939-1945. "Their name liveth for ever" 

Plaque 1 on exterior: 

To the glory of God. The foundation stone below was laid in the original church on the twenty second day of September 1900, Minister Rev. James Marshall, and was reset in this memorial hall on the first day of March 1953, Minister Rev. George Nesbitt

Plaque 2 on exterior: 

The stone below was taken from the original church built in 1900 was reset in this memorial hall to the Glory of God by the Reverend George Nesbitt on the sixth day of December 1959 being the 24th Anniversay of his ministry in St David's
