Description / Background

The St Peter's Honour Roll, and a Hymn Board, were presented by the St Peter's Sunday School in memory of William Earnest Foster a former Sunday School teacher. The roll was unveiled and dedicated on 21 September 1946 and reported shortly after in the Nepean Times on 26 September. The St Peter's church has been rebuilt twice and the roll without the Hymn Board is located in the new building.

The veterans on the roll and their brief stories are recorded in a book, compiled by Walter J. Venn and Don Murdoch and published by the Glenbrook & District Historical Society Inc. The book is available through the Society and is also available at their museum in Ross Street, Glenbrook.
