Brick building with memorial plaques on either side of the main doorway. The foundation stone was laid on 9 March 1936 and the hall was opened later that year on 16 September.

RSL MEMORIAL HALL

THIS PLAQUE COMMEMORATES THE TRANSFER OF THE TUMBARUMBA RETURNED AND SERVICES LEAGUE MEMORIAL HALL TO THE TUMBARUMBA SHIRE COUNCIL.

THE TRANSFER WAS AGREED TO BY MEMBERS OF THE TUMBARUMBA RSL SUB-BRANCH AND THE RSL OF AUSTRALIA (NSW BRANCH) TO PRESERVE THE ONGOING MEMORY OF OUR FALLEN COMRADES AND CONTINUED UTILISATION OF THE HALL BY THE COMUNITY.

THE TRANSFER WAS BROUGHT ABOUT LARGELY DUE TO THE DRIVE AND ENTHUSIAM OF SUB-BRANCH PRESIDENT MR RON HILTON (A TIRELESS CAMPAIGNER FOR THE RSL AND THE YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITY).
