The memorial is a large timber honour roll with a simple curved design at the top. The inscription and names are painted on the board in gold. The names are listed in four columns, two for the First World War and two for the Second World War. A few names are listed out of alphabetical order. 

The memorial is located inside Bowraville and District Ex-Service's Club. Access to the memorial is restricted to the opening hours of the club.
