Description / Background

This large timber honour board is of simple design, with a classical pediment at the top. The names are printed in gold and are arranged in sections to correspond with various conflicts or peacekeeping missions in which Australians have served. The sections are the First and Second World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Timor, and Afghanistan.

The original version of the Coraki Honour Board was once located in the Coraki School of Arts building. While discussing the restoration of nine honour rolls by the Mid-Richmond Historical Society in the Northern Star, 1 April 2015, the society's treasurer, Margaret Williams, stated "the Coraki honour board disappeared years ago when the old School of Arts building was demolished." The society received a Federal Government Anzac Memorial Local Grant to assist with the restorations.

The memorial is located in the Mid-Richmond Historical Society Museum, also known as the Coraki Museum. Access to the memorial is restricted to the opening hours of the museum.
