Description

The Manilla Wall of Remembrance is the focal point of a commemorative area located in the centre of the Manilla General Cemetery. The wall is built of brick and painted red. There is an cctagonal column in front of it, covered in brown tiles. There are also two additional brick walls on either side of the main wall. The area is paved with bricks and bordered by shrubs.

The main and right side walls have multiple metal plaques attached, commemorating servicepeople from the First and Second World Wars, Korea, Malaya, Vietnam and "other service". Names are listed on honour rolls or individual plaques. A number of those listed are buried in the cemetery.
