Methul Second World War Roll of Honour Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The Methul Second World War Roll of Honour is a polished timber plaque with names printed on it in gold lettering. The top of the board features a simple standard pediment. On each side of the honour roll is decorative timber woodwork and square shaped corners which emphasise the overall rectangular design of the memorial. The names are arranged in alphabetical order indicating that the memorial was dedicated and unveiled after the war had ended. It is assumed that this memorial was originally dedicated and located in the Methul Hall which was opened on 5 November 1897. The memorial is now located in the Coolamon RSL Memorial Museum and is available for viewing when the museum is open to the public.
