Description / Background

The Mumbil District War Memorial consists of an upright bushrock, set in a bed of white pebbles. Attached to the front of the rock is a plaque bearing the dedication to all those who have served.

The memorial is positioned in the middle of a concrete slab, in the shape of an octagon. A pipe and chain fence is located around the slab. A flagpole also stands in front of the rock.

The memorial is located outside the Mumbil District Hall on Burrendong Way, near the intersection with Cudgegong Street. Inside the hall, there are display cabinets filled with memorabilia to celebrate the town's military history.
