Description / Background

The Wollongong City Diggers Club was constructed in honour of those who have served. On the outside of the building, facing the corner of Church and Burelli Streets, there is also a war memorial consisting of two flagpoles and a series of plaques. The memorial also includes the emblems of the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Military Forces, and Royal Australian Air Force.
