Description / Background

A veneered granite marble pillar with eight bronze cast panels attached. These show the names of all members, including reinforcements, who served in the Regiment. The monument is maintained by the RSL and is located on the grounds of the Coffs Ex-Services Club.

Notes on veterans' names:

  • G Chesworth, F A Fenwick, I N Hindmarsh, and F H Whitehouse are listed as Missing believed Killed by the Australian War Memorials' (AWM) Roll of Honour.
  • M R Strang is listed on the AWM Roll as having Died of Wounds.
  • J W Healey is recorded on the AWM Roll as John Walter Healy.
  • H P Tomkins is recorded on the AWM Roll as H B Tomkins.
  • There is no H N Bell listed on the AWM Roll.
