Description / Background

A small white marble rectangular obelisk set on three stone steps. Names of veterans are engraved on three of the four sides with and inscription and wreath engraved on the fourth. A newer bronze plaque is affixed to the middle step. The whole is located within a low hedge on three sides with two flagpoles behind. An old field gun is located to the south of the memorial, beyond the hedge. The memorial is located just off Berowra Waters Road.

Plaque 1:

Pray for Peace. They loved honour more than they feared death.

Plaque 2:

In memory of the fallen and the Unknown Australian Soldier. 75th Anniversary of Remembrance Day 11.11.1993.
