Boomi Public School Ex-Students Second World War Honour Roll Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background A simple timber honour board for the Second World War can be found inside the Boomi Public School. It is approximately 1.2 metres square in size. The board lists 38 students who attended the school and saw service in the Australian Imperial Force during the war. Of those listed, eight have no clear connection to Boomi on their service records. Two rejected volunteers are also listed on the memorial. Boomi Public School was established in 1901.
