This war memorial is a simple bronze plaque, in honour of those who served in the Korean War. It is decorated with a small Latin cross. It is attached to a plain timber backing board and mounted on a wall inside the Croppa Creek Soldiers Memorial Hall.
On 2 June 2011, the Korean War Veteran's Association was awarded a 'Saluting Their Service Grant' to install these plaques at existing war memorials in Bingara, Gravesend, North Star, Warialda, Yallaroi, Croppa Creek, and Upper Horton.
The plaque is available for viewing when the hall is open for functions. Also on site is the Croppa Creek First and Second World Wars Honour Roll.
Information about Australia's involvement in the Korean War is available on the Australian War Memorial's website.
