British Commonwealth Occupation Force Memorial, Millers Point

Description

On a Wooden base there is a bronze plaque with the lettering engraved into the plaque. At the top there is the British Commonwealth Force insignia. At the bottom of the plaque there is a small bronze plate with the details of the unveiling on it. The memorial is on the inside left wall of the church.

British Commonwealth Occupation Force Australian Contingent (B.C.O.F.) The first Australian force to occupy the homeland of a former adversary Japan IN MEMORY TO ALL THOSE WHO SERVED To the Glory of God presented by B.C.O.F. Assoc N.S.W. Inc unveiled in the Presence of His Excellency Rear Admiral Peter Sinclair AC. Governor of NEW South Wales 8 August 1993
