Description / Background

A momument featuring a column of red brick, set on a two-step platform of brick and concrete. It is partly clad in sandstone and has a marble cross and plaque attached. Behind it is a red brick wall bearing a dedication plaque, an honour roll and the RSL badge, all in bronze. The monument is located on the grass median strip in the centre of Meade Street.

This Memorial Wall and Roll of Honour is dedicated to those who served our Nation at war so that we may live in freedom, and to preserve the memory of their deeds.

Erected by the R.S.L. and contributed to by the people of Bulahdelah, The Great Lakes Shire Council, The Combined Sporting Clubs, The Lions Club, and the Grand United Bulahdelah Bowling Club.

Unveiled by D. M. Houston ANZAC Day 25th April 1997.
