Irwin and Edward Bunyan Memorial Plaque Middle Image Image Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background White marble plaque, engraved and highlighted in black and gold, set within a black timber surround. The memorial is mounted on a wall in Emu Plains Anglican Church, formerly St Paul's Church, next to two war pennies given to the parents of the deceased soldiers upon their death. It is located within the church and is not visible from the outside. Inscription Sempter paratus Erected by W. & S. Bunyan to the Glory of God and in loving memory of their beloved sons Private Irwin Bunyan 19th Batt. A.I.F. Died of Wounds in France 11th May 1917, Aged 27 Years. And of Private Edward Bunyan 19th Batt. A.I.F. Killed in Action in France 8th October 1917 Aged 26 Years. Two young Lives nobly ended.
