Description / Background

The memorial is stone monument, made from sandstone blocks. The sides of the memorial are tapered towards the top. Attached to its front face are three enamel tiles, bearing the emblems of the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army, and Royal Australian Air Force. A dedication plaque is on the top face of the monument.

The memorial was paid for by the people of Clunes and district. It is located in Clunes Village Park, adjacent to the Clunes Village Park Memorial Tree
