Commonwealth Bank of Australia Honour Rolls

Description: 

The Honour Roll is a series of four large bronze plaques located on either side of the Pitt Street doors to the main banking chamber. The larger two plaques have the names embossed of staff members who died and served in World War I.

The two plaques commemorating World War II have the names of staff members who died in service.

 

Inscription: 

Commonwealth Bank of Australia Roll of Honour. Died on Active Service. Others who served. The Great War 1914-1918. Commonwealth Bank of Australia Roll of Honour. Died on Active Service. 2593 other members of the Staff also served World War II 1939-1945
