Description / Background

A rectangular stone pedestal surmounted by a 'broken' column or polished granite. An engraved band of vine leaves circles the column. The monument is set on two steps and is surrounded by a small circular rose garden and paving. Inscriptions and veterans' names are engraved and gilded.
