Inscription

A.M.D.G and in loving memory of Frank Ohlfsen Bayley of H.M.A.S. Melbourne who died in active service in the Great War 7th March 1916 Aged 25 years

'QUI ANTE DEIM PERIIT'

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life & some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
