Description / Background

The Hargraves Village War Memorial was restored in 2010. The original pedestal that held a machine gun from the First World War was all that remained of the original monument, dedicated in 1921. A new monument was created and a replica gun made to replace the original. The monument was rededicated in 11 November 2010.
