At top of arch facing:

Lest We Forget

On each pillar, a laurel wreath
West face of north pillar: 1914 - 1918
West face of south pillar: 1939 - 1945
Name and dedicatory plaques have been attached at various prominent positions

'This Memorial Arch was unveiled by the Honourable Sir George Fuller K.C.M.G. Premier Of N.S.W. April 25 1925.

This Memorial has been erected by the residents of Kiama to the Glory of God
And in grateful recognition of the sacrifice of those who from this district served
in the Great War 1914-1918
