Within the park are also a Second World War memorial arch and a small concrete plinth with a brass plaque dedicated to an individual soldier who fell in the First World War. Notes on veterans' names: The entry for V Cassells is spelt on the memorial as V Casells. The entry for Ted Perry-Circuitt is spelt on the memorial as Ted Circuitt.
