Description

The original memorial consisted of three sandstone face-stones with plaques attached, in company with three armed services badges. A flagstaff located behind the centre stone.

The memorial was upgraded in 2015 by the Forster - Tuncurry RSL Sub Branch, with the help of the community, through both Federal and council funding. The upgrade included the planting of a pine tree, a descendant of the original Lone Pine, and trees to mark each war campaign.

Pathways, signage and landscaped gardens were also upgraded.

Previous to the 2015 upgrade, this memorial was titled "Tuncurry War Memorial".
