Marble name plaques affixed to stone gate-posts at the entrance to the Gordon Williams Memorial Lawn Cemetery. NOTE: the designation KIA/Died on this memorial refers to those Killed-In-Action and those who died post war to 1925



Erected by the Aberdare Memorial Committee Opened by Mrs C. Jones and Mrs I. Villis 5th Sept. 1925 Mrs I. Vallance Secretary Mrs S. J. Hartsorn Treasurer The left main pillar is headed: A.I.F. [Australian Imperial Force] The right main pillar is headed: 1914 - 1918
