A memorial chancel and tower within the church, with the dedication inscribed and gilded on a white marble plaque set into the sanctuary wall. 

Inscription

AMDG [To the greater glory of God]

And in memory of the men and women of this Parish and District who fell in World Wars I & II this sanctuary, chancel and tower is erected. This stone was placed in position by Rev. M M Redman, Rector of Cessnock 1949-1950 on 8th December 1951. R D McCullouchRector of Cessnock.
