Description / Background

The Roll of Honour is a brass plaque attached to a brick wall with garden to the left and right sides. It stands to the rear of the Paterson War Memorial, in a park located to the south side of Paterson Train Station.

Notes on veterans' names:

  • B Baker is given on the memorial as B Barker.
  • All status codes for deceased veterans have been taken from information in the Australian War Memorial Roll of Honour and Commemorative Roll, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission database and the National Archives of Australia.

Saluting Their Service

The upgrading of the surrounds was to commemorate the Men and Women of the Paterson District who served our country in all theatres of operation, be it in war, peace, other conflicts or peace-keeping.
