A polished granite memorial in the shape of a headstone, mounted on a concrete block. The Royal Australian Air Force (R.A.A.F.) insignia is attached on the front face, as well as a dedication plaque with honour roll for the Second World War. It is located in the Glen Innes Cemetery and faces east.

Inscription

This memorial is in honour of all R.A.A.F. personnel from Glen Innes and district who served during World War II 1939-1945

This memorial also honours the R.A.A.F. personnel who died in an aircraft accident in Glen Innes-11 September 1944
