Description

The brick and concrete plinth has a marble plaque to commemorate those students who served in World War 1 and 2 and a second more recent metal plaque to commemorate all of those who served and the World War 2 VP Day 15 August 1945.

The monument is located in the school's quadrangle near the Lone Pine trees. 

The Glen Innes RSL Sub-Branch received a 'Saluting Their Service' grant on 24 July 2005 to install a plaque to commemorate VP Day at the Glen Innes Primary and St Joseph's School.
