Additional information by Sydney Trains:

A very large polished wooden Roll of Honour board, with 452 Eveleigh Locoworks railways employees names who served in the First World War written in white in nine columns, and behind three glass panes.

It was decorated with a crown and Union Jack and Australian flags and the words "Lest we forget" above, and a laurel wreath encircling the Roll of Honour banner.

It was produced by Eveleigh Locoworks staff after the First World War Honour Roll was unveiled, apparently to consolidate the names on various Locoworkshops Honour Rolls, and it was unveiled by Works Manager A. C. Bell at Eveleigh on 10 November 1964.

After the closure of the Locoworks in 1989, it was relocated and fixed to the eastern Railway Remembrance Wall at Central Station.
