Part of the Railway Remembrance Wall, this bronze plaque commemorates the Railway Construction and Maintenance Group RAE AIF. In adition to the inscription it has the Australia Remembers 1945-1995 crest and the State Rail logo.This memorial is located near platform 23.

A bronze plaque with the title 'Australia Remembers 1945-1995', and commemorates the Railways Construction and Maintenance Group in WWII.

It was unveiled in 1995 and fixed to the western Railway Remembrance Wall at Central Station.

Australia Remembers 1945-1995.

This plaque commemorates the formation of the Railwa Construction and Maintenance Group RAE AIF, under the command of Lt. Col. K A Fraser composed of skilled railway workers and other specialised personnel.

The Hon. Brian Langton, MP, Minister for Transport and Minister for Tourism.
