A simple bronze plaque set on a rectangular block of sandstone. The memorial was incorporated into a garden at the eastern approach to the Rhodes railway station when it was remodelled in 2006.

This memorial commemorates Rhodes community servicemen in the Second World War. It was unveiled by F. Flowers M.L.C. at Rhodes Station.

Following the 2006 redevelopment of Rhodes Station, the memorial was located at the entrance of the station off Blaxland Road. It comprises a brass plaque set on a small sandstone plinth with a sandstone wall behind and is surrounded by a raised garden bed.

In memory of those who enlisted in the Services from the Rhodes community in the 1939-1945 War.
