2020 marks 75 years since the end of the Second World War. To commemorate this important year, the NSW Government interviewed WWII veterans about their experiences. Read our 75th Anniversary Stories.
The memorial is a cement pillar on a four-stepped base, set on brick paving surround. Each face is inlaid with grey polished granite. A roll of honour plaque is attached to the front piece of granite. Names are marked with their fate using the key: + Killed in action, * Died of wounds, X Died of sickness, ☒ Cause of death unknown.
The memorial is located in the Tootool Parade Information Bay on Lockhart-the Rock Road, also known as Tootool Parade. Tootool is located between The Rock and Lockhart.
