2020 marks 75 years since the end of the Second World War. To commemorate this important year, the NSW Government interviewed WWII veterans about their experiences. Read our 75th Anniversary Stories.
Two memorials are located in the Garden of Remembrance within Stanley Galvin Park. The first is a wall topped with drinking fountains, dedicated on 25 April 1952. The wall is topped with a concrete slab, and has two original marble plaques on the front face, as well as two more recent brass plaques. The second memorial is a newer brick wall, and contains several plaques with honour rolls. There is also a timber flagpole nearby.
