Description / Background

Henty Memorial Park was established around October 1995 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. A focal point of the park is a rectangular black granite and local stone monument, behind which stands a single white flagpole. To the right-hand side is a bushrock memorial with a plaque bearing a dedication to two local soldiers.

Also located in the park is an artillery gun, in honour of the centenary of the town in 1986.
