West Wallsend Wall of Rememberence Middle Image Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The memorial consists of two stone-block walls, positioned either side of the West Wallsend and District Soldiers Memorial. Four marble panels are attached to each side of each wall. The walls are inscribed with an honour roll of those who served in the Second World War, the Occupation of Japan (British Commonwealth Occupation Force (B.C.O.F.)), Malaya, Korea, and Vietnam. The names are also grouped together under the sub-headings of Australian Army (Army), Royal Australian Air Force (R.A.A.F.), and Royal Australian Navy (R.A.N.).
