Description / Background

White marble plaque inset into a wooden frame. The inscription at the peak of the plaque is coloured gold, while the engraved names below are in black. The end year of the war is incomplete, missing the last two digits.

The plaque is hung high on the wall at the western end of the Wollombi Museum, originally the Wollombi Courthouse (c.1866).
