Women War Workers 1914-1918 Memorial Plaque

A stone tablet set into a corridor within the Newcastle City Hall. The memorial is located on the first floor, above the left corridor at the top of main staircase.

In gratitude. This tablet is erected by the ex-service men of the 9th Brigade A.I.F. in appreciation of the devoted labours of the women war-workers 1914-18. They can never be repaid, but they will never be forgotten.
