In front of the R.S.L. there is a cenotaph which was built as an R.S.L. project. There are 6 names on this cenotaph - 5 males and 1 female. These names are of ex-service people that willed that on their death, their cremated remains become incorporated into the cenotaph. Following the death of local ex-service people, the local Bundeena Sub Branch of the R.S.L. donates a book in their honour to the Bundeena Public School and Shire Library.
