Description / Background

The Bundeena and Maianbar War Memorial is a granite block, with a dedication plaque and honour roll of those who served in the First World War. It stands on a bed of crushed gravel and is flanked by two flagpoles.

In 1997, funds were provided through the Commonwealth 'Your Service Our Heritage' scheme to establish the memorial. It was unveiled the following year on 29 March. The honour roll was added in 2018.

The monument is located in the park behind the Bundeena Community and Services Club. Commemorative services are held on site.
