Gulargambone Vietnam War Memorial Middle Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background Engraved basalt memorial plaque, dedicated to those who served in the Vietnam War, mounted on a bushrock. The memorial is located near the Gulargambone First and Second World Wars Memorial in Gulargambone Park. It was organised by the community of Gulargambone and Coonamble Shire Council. The council generously donated the piece of basalt from the shire quarry at Magometon in the Warrumbungle Mountains and assisted with the finance. The monumental mason was Mr Max Philpott.
