Description / Background

This war memorial is a grove of trees, located alongside the Hume Highway near Walshaw Park in Bass Hill, NSW. Also on site is a bushrock memorial, with a metal plaque attached. It identifies the memorial as being dedicated to the staff of Leyland Australia who have served in the Australian Defence Forces. 

This memorial forms part of the Remembrance Driveway, a living memorial that runs along the Hume and Federal Highways between Sydney and Canberra.
