Parkes Methodist Church Second World War Book of Remembrance Middle Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The book has a dark blue leather cover with the inscription in gilt. Each page contains a photograph of a Second World War veteran and handwritten information on their service. The information came from the veterans' families or the veterans themselves; however, the process for collecting names is not clear. The memorial does not include all veterans who attended the Parkes Methodist Church, now the Uniting Church. The book is located inside the Parkes Uniting Church. Also on site is the Parkes Methodist Church First World War Roll of Honor.
