Description / Background

The memorial is a brass plaque inscribed with a dedication to Private Thomas Cunningham Robertson, who fell in the Boer War. It is mounted on the southern wall, to the left of the door to the sacristy, in the nave at the western end of All Saints' Anglican Church, Woollahra.

The plaque was dedicated on site by Captain W. W. Russell Watson on 30 June 1901, following a "church parade" of military personnel, who had marched from Victoria Barracks (The Daily Telegraph, 1 July 1901).

Services are held regularly at the church. Access to the memorial is restricted by the opening hours of the church.

Private Robertson is also commemorated on the Hay Boer War Memorial.
