Paddington (former) Methodist Church WW1 Roll of Honour

Description

Paddington Uniting Church was formerly Paddington Methodist Church. A polish wood honour board located on the back wall of the Church. Inscriptions and veterans' names are printed in gilt. At the top of the board is a small painted emblem of crossed Union Jack and the Australian Red Ensign above the AIF Rising Sun badge. Above each of the three columns of veterans' names is a painted triquetra, a symbol of the Holy Trinity.

At top of board: 1914 - 1918 Roll of Honour Paddington Methodist Church 'But I hold not my life of any account as dear unto myself.' Acts XX-24. At very bottom: * Fallen
